Weekly challenge 2/1 - 2/7 Texturally Speaking

Someone needs to be brushed.

I had a perfect submission but it was shot last week: clouds from above over the Blue Ridge Mountains conforming to the ridges and valleys taken at sunset. The texture of the clouds is like foam on the ocean.

I submit this in the spirit of sharing experiments and failures. This is a local urban stream: ISO 50, 30 seconds F 16 taken through an ND filter and polarizer.

Multiple textures.

My pencil holder. Wooden basket with a cloth liner, plastic pencils inside, and the "Think Pink" ribbon I was given by a member of ZTA sorority during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 2009.

My right front tire blew out on the freeway on my way to work Saturday. I snapped this photo with my cell phone about 30 minutes after I had taken the paper bag photo which was posted above. This photo had the curves edited in Snapseed.
