I was just not seeing symmetry in landscape. Last night I watched Roma and in one scene there was a prickly pear cactus - and it was giving those symmetrical vibes. Went out this morning and of course my cactus was not being very symmetrical - so I took these shots of nature being symmetrical within the landscape of things.

To be or not to be symmetrical, that is the (rhetorical) question
Fuji XE-1 + Meike 6.5mm fisheye (cropped image)

Original image and mirrored image each cut into 20 strips and then placed side-by-side next to each other.
in the 80s I did things like this with photos of bricks, masonry, etc., a huge job to cut large photos and paste them on cardboard, nowadays in this digital time this "mixing" is really a piece of cakeView attachment 169225
