So I thought I would shoot a subject that is unequivocally associated with color and see how it turned out. I wasn't going to post this but my wife liked the B&W version.

Definitely agree with your wife Mike. The b/w version makes the vase and stem and shadows all a part of the composition.

I actually like the color one better there, maybe because it reminds me that my Dad used to love to paint sculptures of Native Americans.
