Taken early this morning at the Carillon near Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington, VA. Would have been better with the 85mm f 1.8 but I had the 70-200mm f 2.8 on at the time and did not think about switching. Shot at f 2.8 per the Square Peg's direction. Headed to LA this week on business and will have the new nifty 50. Maybe I can conjure up something better.

Okay, so now I am in California with the Nifty Fifty. As I was walking to the beach to work on this challenge, I saw this weed growing between the rails of a train track. It ended up being my favorite of the day.
