Weird black spots in Photomatix

Hi,

I was trying to tone map two exposures in Photomatix, when I got these black spots in places, Here's an illustration:



I'm very inexperienced at Photomatix, Just started using it and it's giving me headaches. I can't judge the dynamic range right for the scenes .

I later though fused the exposures, but in tone mapping I always get problems.
