Hey everybody, I'm Freddy from the Netherlands. I have been wanting to take decent pictures for quite a while, but since my current camera is a Caplio G3 by Ricoh, it wasn't really possible. I've used my dad in law's 350D for a bit, and it was quite an experience to be able to take decent pictures all of a sudden.
So, the decision was made. I needed a DSLR! A few days ago I ordered a Nikon 40D with an 18-55mm stock lense, which has unfortunately not arrived at my place yet. I've made sure my wife is stationed right behind the door so she can take the package of the couriers hand at any time. What? Yes of course... I gave her a lunchbox so she doesn't have to leave her spot... What kind of a question is that?
Ah well, the camera should be there about tomorrow, maybe Saturday.
Anyway, I hope I can share my experiences with my new love with you guys, and you can give me some thought on my work.
