I always thought working for national geographic would be cool. But I think the problem with professional journalism like this is its harder to settle down and have a family. And problem #2 my photos are not up to NG quality haha.

But I would settle for selling pictures on eBay or winning a photo contest.

Ouch kelly that is bad luck and a really big blow - I don't wonder that you lost the flare for photography after that.
But its great to hear that you are back into the swing of things!

edit - getting anyphoto into National Geographic would be a massive massive thing!
I would not nessessarily wish to work for them but to get a shot or two in their mag -- well that would be great
