What DID I buy? :)

Today, before my photo shoot, I went to the photo shop
to get some films.

While I was there, I was looking at some cameras.
Cuz I needed a new one, since the old one, was slowly falling apart
It still takes great pics though, but I wanted something new.


I bought myself a: MINOLTA DYNAX 5 with 28-80mm lense

the 28-100 was a bit too pricey for me.

so what's people's opinion on that camera, did I buy a good one, an average one, or a perfect one?

I think you bought an excellent entry level camera with features on more expensive cameras. I bought the first Maxxum/Dynax made in '85 and used it for 15 years altho better built than the current cameras. With reasonable care, it should last a long time.

I'm reading the manual right now, for all it's options

gonna experiment with long shutter tonight

got some cool ideas for awhile, now I can finally do them

I bought meself a stand as well (don't know how you call it in English)

anyways, it's the thing you can put your camera on, so it will hold steady with long shutter speed
