Almost as taken - Heavy rain followed by late afternoon sunshine brought up the mist and gave the glow to Ely cathedral. Just a few branches of a tree "shopped out on the right and saturation and levels tweaked very slightly "stirred to taste"! It is the view from my back garden!

Wonderful view, and the fog came just as ordered to make this so soft and canvas-like. Wonderful pic.

When we were cruising the Norfolk Broads in 2000, I was THINKING about maybe taking a turn into the Fens, too, but that is not possible with a boat, you are restricted to the Broads, and after that we were going to see someone in Aylesbury, so no trip to Ely.

And when we had our last year's TPF UK meet-up in Saffron Walden, again my sister and I were THINKING about maybe including Ely into the trip, but again it did not come about.

Oh well. Looks like ONE day I must make it ... this photo shows it is definitely worth it.

Oh, and I like the duck, too.
