Hello,

I recently bought some expensive gear, and i want to store it appropriately. I currently keep all of my gear into my backpack, but i dont think this is the best way to avoid fungus, right? Where should i keep them?

However you store them, take them out on occasion and let them absorb some UV light. This will keep the fungus at bay.

It does little good to have expensive camera gear if it's always packed away.
If you use your gear on even just a semi-regular basis the chances of fungus growing are small.
But as mentioned, UV light helps control the growth of fungus.

Moisture helps promote the growth of fungus.
So keep a couple re-usable silica gel desiccant packs with your stored gear. Check them often during that time of the year when their is a lot of humidity in the air..
