I was just looking into a decent backpack that can hold 4-5 lenses and other stuff if need be. Im not looking for something huge but something that is light, double strapped and i can hold a tripod on.

Secondly, What kind of tripods do you guys use? any recommendations? just looking into them and not trying to get something expensive or heavy but something light and less than 250.

if you guys can recommend anything, Id love to see some links to amazon or ebay or whatever you guys feel like linking. ive done my own searching but i have to have second, third and fourth opinions on things before i buy them.

I was looking into these so any feedback would be cool.

Manfrotto 190XPROB Pro Aluminum Tripod Kit B&H Photo Video

Thanks guys!

Yep many consider the manfrotto 190xprob & 296rc2 head mentioned above as a good setup. And would be happy with it.
.

hey thanks for the feedback. as for a tripod, I went with Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro legs and the Manfrotto 498RC2 head. Although, I am still looking for a bad but my budget is going to be significantly less than $240. I was looking more for something around $100.

I have a Tamrac Expidition 8 for getting away from it ALL. They also come in smaller sizes.

Promaster Adventure Series backpack (khaki colored). I love it. Very well made and it can swallow a FX body, 24-70, 70-200, 85, pocket wizards, grip and battery insert. It has another compartment for a laptop and collapsible reflector. In the side pockets are my rapid strap and SB-910 and in the front pockets a bunch of other stuff like batteries/ charger, notebook and pen and misc stuff. http://www.promaster.com/products.asp?product=6598

Slik Pro 780DX tripod. It's a beast and not recommended for extended backpacking. SLIK CORPORATION - The most copied line of tripods today

Ditto on the LowePro Pro Trekker 300! Took a lot of gear to Belize and back, and up and down several mountains here... fits well, the hip belt is comfortable and provides a huge amount of support. You can load this thing up with a ridiculous amount of gear! And it holds a tripod nicely.. very firmly!

I use Giottos... I have a heavy aluminum one (MTL9371B) for general work, with a Giottos ballhead. I have a CF (MTL8350B) one for portability, again with a Giotto's ballhead. Both are rock solid, and do everything I could possibly need. GIOTTO'S-Professional Photographic Equipment

I use a canon backpack and it's worked great so far. So easy to walk around with and carry my extra lenses.

I already purchased a tripod (as mentioned above) and although your bag suggestions are nice, they areout of my price range (as mentioned above).

I would like to have something that is light, can carry a dslr + attached lense, flash and 2-3 other lenses, a laptop and be easily accessible. I was looking at the lowepro fastpacks but want to see what else is out there. also looked at the naneu k4l but couldnt find it anywhere. if you someone has info on where i can pick one up, let me know.

thanks

Look at Amazon Basics.... just be careful! Sometimes you get what you pay for....

I used to have a lowepro trekker AW I believe that's what it was called used it 3x hated it found it to large and heavy. So then I bought a lowepro sling but when I got my 70-200 found it to be too small...I bought the largest one available. Now I have a Tamarac pro12 and I love it! But it's not a back pack...probably why I love it my back no longer sweats!
