what kind of bird?

this bird has been hanging around the complex the last few days. doesn't seem to fly around much and will almost eat bread out of my hand.
I named him Mr. Birdie.
no idea what he is though. lots of birders on here, figured someone would know.
Mr. Birdie loves bread.

Oh, OK. Those of us who have lived in or around big cities most of our lives have seen these every day, usually looking more ragged than this one.

Yea the pigeons I see are rough and ragged, Probably from all the junk food people feed them.The one above looks like it lives in Beverly hills and gets groomed regularly.
