what kind of lens should i upgrade next ?!

Hi everyone im new to here. been reading lots of posts.&nbsp;<br>im currently having a Canon T2i with the Canon<strong>18-200mm f/3.5-5.6</strong> lens and <strong>50mm f/1.8 II</strong> lens&nbsp;<br>since im a beginner, i dont think i should upgrade my body yet. So i'm thinking to upgrade my lens.&nbsp;<br><br><br><br>Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM&nbsp;<br>Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 USM&nbsp;<br><br>i love wide&nbsp;angle&nbsp;lens, but i already have a 18-200mm lens (Question: does 18-200mm lens consider a wide zoom lens?), so i really don't know which one i should get.<br>some of my friend tell me that the 24-70mm will give you a sharper image compare to the 18-200mm lens. (true?)&nbsp;<br>I mostly take pics of city, indoor, and&nbsp;portrait. (which one will be a better lens ?)&nbsp;<br>And im going to NYC this new year.(and im really hope i can take some nice pictures over there)<br><br>or any other suggestion ?
