What metal is the Mamiya C330 made of?

Shutter autococking lever was removed by previous owner to convert it to all manual (probably didn't like the single/multi-exposure dial). So I need to have the piece manufactured. Does anyone know what metal the body is made out of? Stainless steel, Magnesium or aluminum? If you know which grades even better.

I don't know for sure but the body looks like it's some kind of aluminium alloy. I'd bet on that lever being mild steel, as aluminium is a bit too soft to specify a moving part. Unlikley to be stainless, as designers would only spec that if they were expecting corrosion to be an issue.

If you are getting the part made, any steel should be sufficent.

I don't know where you're located but there's a C330 parts camera for sale on eBay (USA) right now for less than $100.
