What's "CLA"?

I've read photographers comment on getting a "CLA" for their camera equipment...I assume this is a type of maintenance. What does it stand for?

Or "Cleaning, Lubrication, and Adjustment"

Depending upon the number of rolls of film you run through your camera(s) per year and/or upon its age, I think it is a good idea to send your camera in for a CLA every 5 to 7 years.

Perhaps, more important is to find a competent repair person or facility.
