When did you go PRO?

The first time someone paid me for a photograph.

can i say im a professional at 17 years old to then?

Ive sold many pictures. Mostly to kids parents whos kids are on a sports team. And then i took pictures of dogs for a lady doing a cherity. I also shot for a band called Dropout Year and Easton Legacy.

Other then that.. i figure when im "Professional", ill be making enought to own a house, car, and support my lifestyle as well a family if i ever have one. TO me thats a professional... who makes there living off of photography. Eats, sleeps and breaths every aspect of photography and the elements alike.

Its hard to consider someone a professional when they just took a couple shots and sold them. Yes, congrats. Your on your way.. but what about that specifies your truely professional.

What your are a professional at is your full-time job that earns you $80.000 + a year.
