My father has a very old film he wants developed. Apparently it is 50 years old. We know there is a good chance of degradation, but would be willing to pay and risk anyhow. I have been told that it is panchromatic 16mm kodak film, magazine loaded. But the sprockets have been deformed so it has probably been exposed, but not developed.

We are in the UK so a British/European country woiuld be cheaper than delivering it to the US. Can't wait to find out whats on the film, thanks!

Oh this is the camera that took it.

Nicer camera than what I used to own and shoot with. Does it work?

It's been a long time since I've shot movie film but I'll ask around and get back to you if I find anything. But what you are looking for is a movie film lab. See if you can find a association or club of of film makers, they should be able to tell you where to go.

A 5 sec. google search gave me this:
Film Proceesing | Old Film Processing , developing and printing | Film Processing online | Kodak Express

They have 16mm processing towards the bottom of the page. Of course, I don't know them so I would try and find some more info.

Good luck.

Thankyou for the information, I will enquire further.
I'm not sure if it still works, I will ask him.

Try a company called loxleys,or a Snappy snap's,there the only places i can think of
