which camera wolud be better, do you think?

conclusive answer asside I doubt that lens would be sharp enough for 7.1mpx. No further knowledge here.

You'll not notice the difference between 5.1 and 7.1 mpix's. The clincher should be the quality of the images. Fujinon lenses for 135 bodies are not bad pieces of glass. Maybe the quality made it on to the p&s.

Mega pixels (after about 4.5 or 5) are irrelevant unless you are printing pictures larger than 5 by 3 (maybe even larger before the naked eye matters).

I am actually considering Fuji S5200 myself, it got much better review than that Kodak camera.
