Which film?

Hello there forum!

I am looking to photograph some portraits in a style similar to that of David LaChapelle. I am aware that he edits his prints digitally after he has taken them, to brighten up the colours etc. But I am wondering which colour film would be best to use to achieve the bold, colourful and saturated photographs he produces?

Any print film with enhanced color such as Porta UC or Agfa UC. Maybe the Porta films designated VC would suit your eye. I am not familiar with the photographer that you mention.

i havent used alot of other films, but my portraits turned our very nice with velvia fujicolor. the emulsion is a little higher, and i think with the right camera setup, the pictures would be brilliant.
