What is the lens you find using the most ?

Most camera time gets my Nikon 24-85mm VR.
I didnt find a lot of info on this lens but since I got it and saw how sharp this lens is it gets a lot of camera time.
Its fast enough for most occasion and the VR is very effective but as I said the one thing I mostly like is how sharp it is.

this is a very good question I am interested in seeing what ppl say....
for me it's the 18-55VR I have the 55-300 but don't seam to use it all the much.
thought it was going to be my 35 f1.8 but got a bad copy :(

it depends on what I am shooting...

Macro - Nikon 105
Nature - 70-200 VRII
Landscape - either the Nikon 24-70 or 14-24
Portraiture / events - either the 24-70 or my 85 1.4

I guess my macro lens stays on the most if that is really what you are asking... but even that changes since I add tubes, TC or Raynox, and vary which flash, and how it diffused.. and that varies a lot.

1. Nikkor 70-300
2. Sigma 150-500
3. Sigma 17-70
4. All the rest

My general purpose 'go-to' lens is the 24-70; but for single-person portraiture my 85 1.4 is what I do most of my shooting with, followed by the 70-200...

The one that gets use the most is the one that gets the job done. The job in turn determines the lens that gets used. There is no right answer here grasshopper.

Well I own a:

18-55mm f3.5-5.6
50mm f1.8
28-105mm f3.5-4.5
70-300mm f4-5.6

Which I use on a 1.6 cropped sensor (compared to ff)
My go to lens in that range is my 28-105mm which I do admit has its limitations but whenever I don't have it on I miss the reach. If I had one lens out the lot it would be that one. It does have limitations mind you.

80% of the time its the 24-70 f2.8 followed by the Bigma 50-500 >> 14-24 f2.8 >> 105mm f2.8

85mm 1.8 and 24mm tilt shift.

Tamron 90mm macro and 85 1.8.

I've been doing lots of macro and portraits lately.

60% = Canon 18-135mm STM
15% = Lensbaby composer pro + 35mm optic
10% = Sigma 10-20mm
10% = Canon 70-300mm
5% = Few other random lenses

I'd say it's probably my 100mm macro. Followed by the 85mm 1.8.

The last few weeks it's definitely been the 40mm STM - but I just got that, so I don't think that counts. Of course I'm going to use it all the time right after I got it, lol.

24-105 f4L - 50%
16-35 f2.8L - 20% and decreasing
80-200 f2.8L - 20% and moving up quickly
135 f2L - 10%

<1% 85mm f1.8 - recently sold
<1% 200 f2.8L - recently sold

That's for indoor events at church. Outdoors, city scapes, and trains, the mix changes to about 33% each the first 3 and the 135, almost nil.
