Of these three photos which do like best and why? Thanks for the input!! Oh just so you know Rusty has three legs so if he looks a little weird in the rear end that is why.

Hmm, I would have to pick #3 as I feel the dog is the primary subject (which I think is the dog) should be sharpest.

I pick #1

better balance, focus is on the ducks, which are not obscured by the plants.

Here's my version:

I want the focus of 4 with the mountains in 1.

#3 for me. I would be late on birds because I was just watching the dog do her thing. Based on my experience, the birds are an important piece, but it's all about the dog. #3.

#3; it's the best framed, the others somehow missed.

Can't say I like any of them. Try angling the dog so the butt is not right in your face.

Third one. I like the focus on the dog. It brings your attention to the dog and then slowly out to the ducks and then the mountains. To me, that tells more of a story than the other way around.

Number 3 for the same reasons already given. :)

The third. The oof dog doesn't add to the photo, it only detracts, IMO.

Best,
Jake

#1 is my favorite however I think IMHO a slight crop off both sides would have more impact and #1 also shows the mountains in the background the best. I like the capture :)
