Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I am looking at buying a new SLR and would like some opinions. I am looking at two Minolta's. One is a Maxxum 7000, whick I have experience with, and the other is a Minolta X-700. These are the two I am looking at now but am open to suggestions. I don't need anything fancy just something that takes good pictures. The 7000 I previously had was great but it was stolen. I like the fact that the X-700 is a manual focus though. PLease help....

Thanks

Ron

if you get an SLR...you can manual focus with any lens you want, if you turn off the AF...so I dono why you "like that's it's manual focus"...but that's fine.

I just wanted to make sure you knew that...because my canon lenses are all autofocus, but I can turn it to manual...and on my L I can actually manual focus even in autofocus mode.

Just throwin it out there.

I knew that though not sure what I was thinking. Anyways, I went ahead and got the X-700. It was a sweet deal I couldn't pass up. I got the Ccamera, Vivitar Auto Thyristor 225 flash, 80 - 200mm Tokina lens with case, extra batteries and a roll of film for $49.00. Had everthing tested and checked out and all is good. Now I just gotta get some more lenses.

Well that price sounds about right. As far as lenses go used is the only way.
