Cats are awesome. That's what I've got to say. Any time I see a cat, my hand is subconsciously reaching for my camera faster than my conscious can think 'cat'.
Maybe I suck at taking portraits and cats are the perfect chance to shove a camera in someone's face and not offend them. I mean, how often have you pointed a camera at someone and taken a picture only for them to leap on you screaming to delete the picture? (Alot). In fact, someone has once screamed a nice little poem to me while crushing me into the ground:
I WILL CRUSH YOU
YOU WILL DIE
YOUR MOTHER WILL CRY
AND I WILL LAUGH AT HER
But then again, how many people have you taken pictures of that have that clawed you? (three)
Anyway, yeah, I get the feeling I should be more so working on the photo part of photo-journalism:
