Fascinating bird and good composition and color, but I don't like the branches in front of it. What kind of bird is that?

May be painted stork? This village in Tamilnadu(neighboring state of Kerala) is really amazing and universally unique... In front and around the small houses of villagers you can see hundreds of these birds nestled and living happy, at reachable distances for human hands...nobody ever disturb the birds not to mention about hunting them.... Nor the villagers ever permit the visitors to inflict any sort of disturbances to them...Of course you can photograph them without troubling them much...
Beyond the village there is a wide lake which give the natural settings for the birds... this haven of birds is a heaven for photographers...but even wild life photographers are just domestic photographers here
