I think the reds are too saturated but I don't know what I can do to fix this

The first one is pretty much amazing. Second one as well, I don't see any oversaturation myself.

Cabernet Franc, Refosco (both from some local wineries, although my region is better for white wine).
Your are right, red is slightly saturated. I have too some problem with reds.

Yeah, I drink cheap wine from the bottle....im a college student, it's my right!


First 1 looks damn good.. 2nd one is meh. You could always try under-exposing it by a stop or two, that may help somewhat.

The first one is very nice ! The second is a bit blown but red's can be difficult. As far as wine goes, "Two buck Chuck" (Charles Shaw wines @ $2 a bottle) are OK for everyday use but they cost $3 in my area. And before any of you laugh, these cheap wines have won many awards over much higher priced wine, even some in the $80-90 range. Of course enzodm has the best wines. I don't think I ever had a bad wine in Italy. And when we were in Southern France, they served Italian wine at dinner.
