WHO?

Hey guys,
I was just looking at some work by a famous artist the other day but I couldn't remember his name, now it's bugging me. He paints on black and white photos and is pretty famous. He has a photo of himself standing on a iceberg in the middle of the ocean and another of himself standing by a miniature train. These are all hand painted b&w. If anyone knows the name could they give me a hint?

Hmm I have had some down time, and after much googling and wikipedia um ing I have come up with nothing. Where were you looking at this work?
