Why not give products the same model number world wide?

All electronic companies know stock is heading out and in from miami to everywhere else. They try to limit the rogue , but still its good for business when they have stock to dump. The numbers add some accountability and they cant be accused of intentionally circumventing the channel since they have the numbers all set up !!
