Why So Serious?

This isn't really for critique (but feel free if you have any!

), just thought it was cool. My friends and I did a series of 11 of these about a month and a half ago. 1 of the "Joker" and 10 "henchmen". The pictures ended up winning a contest and getting us 12 tickets to see Dark Knight on IMAX two days before it came out, which is awesome because several of us are Batman freaks.

the only think i dont like is the color of his fingers. I would have given them a lighter tone closer to his face or a little darker, or put on a black glove

I was about to post exactly this. I'd like to see this image with darker (and dirtier) fingers.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the fingers kind of bothered me, but I didn't notice it until after I got home. We used fabric paint and/or face paint for the makeup and glitter colored hairspray for the hair. The lighting was just two friends holding a flashlight and a reading lamp wherever I told them.

Here's the rest of the shots. We also did a "poison ivy" portrait, but it looks nothing like the rest, so it got the ax.

11. Two-face. We had seen the leaked photo of what he was supposed to look like, but there was no way we were going to take the time to do that.

I really like how you did two-face and #9. Your joker is pretty good but I think you had too much makeup on. And as said above you should have worn a glove or something. But your series is really good and very creative. Thanks for sharing. One batman freak to another.

Haha, oh yeah, it's the most I've ever enjoyed photography to be honest. It was mass chaos though, having 12 people running around painting each other, sitting to get photographed, holding my lights, and just hanging out in two rooms.
