wild strawberries on dune sand

Was out at on our central California coastline today at a state park in an area of dunes that had many wild strawberries, fragaria chilensis. Could not resist eating a few too. ...David

This one, deliciously framed as it is, in a photo so sharp we could start counting the sand grains, looks like it also MUST taste delicious! Hmmm!
