Winter Beach

Hello everyone, this is my first attempt posting a pic, so forgive me if it does not turn out just right.

This is a shot i got near the Springmaid Pier in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was taken in February or March 2005. The thought i am trying to convey with this pic is that the beach is a beautiful peaceful place in the winter time.

I used a Canon 300D(digital Rebel) which was only a few weeks old at the time and my first Digital SLR.

welcome to TPF toddham! your image turned out just fine. i certainly believe you've captured the essence of peace in this photo....can you imagine what it looks like now...probably couldn't see a speck of sand from all the ppl. i never been to myrtle beach, but here it's a wonderful vacation spot. nice shot! please share more of your work soon!
