Hey people,
So I just purchased my first dslr camera a month ago and have been playing around with it. I wish someone told me that winter is kind of a poop time to buy a camera, too damn cold outside to take pics....my kids won't stand still for 2 seconds and finding a bug is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I finally did find the tiniest little spider lurking around the baseboard so off to the tub he went so I could effectively (or so I hoped) snap a few macro pics of. Second pic is a water drop refraction I attempted with a small palm. I don't really know how to place it to capture a nice refraction, this was just the tub and tiles. Any criticism or tips would be greatly appreciated. Photos were taken handheld, no stacking, slightly tweaked in LR and resized in PS.
