Winter has come

We went to the Champ du Feu in Alsace, France last Saturday with my brother. Finally, some snow! We went without much conviction given the weather. But I'm so glad we stayed (in the cold with that nasty wind). It was all worth it.

I'm especially proud of the first one because this is, I believe, my first 100% manual picture. I started photography in June last year and this is the first (nice-looking) picture that was taken in M mode with manual focus. And... finally a f/5.6 picture that looks rather sharp.

#1 like others said. #2 is a bit too wide to work. But both are great shots.
