Working on a logo

This logo is for Temptation Lures. They sell deer attractant. I guess I'm just looking for overall feedback on the logo. Thank You.

Sorry, I don't see the purple "T" - antler working at all.

Rule #1 of logo design is - it has to work in black and white.

Rule #2 of logo design is - it has to be simple.

I really hate to say it, but the "T" antler looks somewhat like a creepy hand.

Thanks for looking back. I figured it would be too busy. Back to the drawing board.

I suggest using Illustrator. You doing want to design logos in photoshop or add glows because if they use it for a store front sign or truck then the size of your document won't be big enough. I suggest checking out Logo Design Love for inspiration.

This. Look at some of the most popular companies out there. McDonalds, Nike, Adidas, Vans, DC, etc. Their logos are so so so simple and extremely effective. You want to get the person looking at the logo remember it without being too simple or too complex.
