Hi everyone,

These are the first pics I post here... your comments are welcome. I used ISO 400 film and later scanned them. I'm afraid I lost a lot of quality in the scanning process and need to work more on my skills there (since I cannot afford a DSLR for now)

2005 Mexican round of the World Rally Championship, in Leon, Guanajuato.

Awesome images! Well done!

Thanks!

Yep, Solberg rules! (Not this season, though :()

nice shots, driving like that looks like fun...

Watching them live sure is! 'Twas a dust nightmare for the camera, but still.

#5 the Skoda is great giving a real sense of speed while leaving the car nice and clear. Good shot

Thanks, I'm very pleased with that one...

Thankyou all for the comments :)

These are so good that I cannot really see the loss through scanning that you mention. OK, in some I can see some dust, but - what does that matter. I am not here to look at dust, but to look at photos.
And even though photos of cars are not quite "my thing", I like what I am seeing here.

Personally your Photos 3 and 8 appeal to me most since I like to look into the countryside beyond the cars ;).

I like #3 and #7.
Love the angle & exposure in #7! Great job!

I also like the perspective in #8. Really shows off the terrain they drive through! :D

great shots and i really like #3 and 4 :)

Thankyou all for your comments :D

Thank you. I lost some color saturation and sharpness... :(

OK, in some I can see some dust

He he... I guess I have to clean my bed... my scanner bed, I mean

I'll look for some "countryside" pics and post 'em later ;)!

Nicely done. Welcome to the forum too.
