Would anyone buy/use this?

I'm looking into getting a shoe mount flash, but I have so many to pick from. I'm currently using a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. I saw this flash on B&H for $99, but compared to the canon Speedlite 430ex ii, there must be something up.

Anyone have any experience with this flash, or can anyone name any off-brand flashes for a decent price? $300 for the Canon Speedlite 430ex II just seems expensive.

The stated guide number is 42m so the real number is probably around 35m which isn't too good. Look at the Nissin's, a couple of people on this forum have said they liked them. Try the search function if you're impatient.
