Would you....?

As a "non-pro" photographer, would you try submitting your photos to a magazine that says it will pay you modestly for you photo if they use it....but if they do use it they can use the photo in other ways as they wish.... ie/promotion, wallpaper(???LOL), etc???

People seem to send lots of photos to these magazines, but apparently you lose control of "your" photographs???

Doesn't sound like a wise move....but the thought of being in a magazine is kind of cool, LOL!!!

Would you do it, why or why not?

As a non-pro, most people don't much care about what happens to their pictures....being in the magazine is the biggest part of the deal.

As a wannabe pro trying to make it, it is a good way to get exposure.
