Any xBox 360 Live users here?

I need a new Hard drive for my xbox 360 but i don't know how i transfer my Live account to the new Hard Drive, or, can i just log into the account from the new hard drive?

You just log in.
You can log into your account from your friends' xboxs...so why not?

Of course I may be wrong...but it would make sense, no?

You'll need to re-download any content you may have purchased - themes, arcade games, etc. But you should be able to download them for free with your account since you've already purchased them.

oh right, i wasn't sure you could do that.

I'm not too bothered about saved games and stuff. Just worried that the account might be linked to the hard drive itself
