Yellow Crested Night Heron Chatting up a "Female"

OK, the baby has the pukes, so I'm posting just the video for now - fear not, it's very short.

The scene is this - Romeo the Yellow Crested Night Heron is in love with Juliet, a decorative plastic heron. Romeo, according to the park ranger, has been pining for Juliet all day, but despite his super suave moves, she continues to play hard to get. You can see her (partially) on the bottom while he shows off for her.

I will be back with edited photos later...depending on baby puke status. I'll see what I can salvage from that harsh light situation. The whole thing is just too funny not to post.

I will say, I hope they remove the plastic bird if he doesn't give up soon...seems kind of mean to let him keep sweet-talking it.
