Some shots I took from my trip to Yellowstone Nat'l Park this week. Hope you like some of them.
1.
2.
3. The Artist's Paintpots: The spring located at the bottom lets out very hot water that grows bacteria that gives off the copper and blue tinges in the stream.
4. Mudpot:
5. Underwater stream at the paintpots. The water is fairly opaque which creates a nice illusion.
6. Dead trees from the fire:
7.
8. Bison
9. Dragon's Cave Spring:
10. Lower Falls. For reference, the white speck to the right of the top of the falls is a person:
11. Lower Falls again:
12. The bottom of Lower Falls. The water condenses on the hill on the right and water runs down the side.
13. Yellowstone River
14. Tower Falls @ 1/25th shutter and then @ 1/3rd. Tell me which you prefer:
15. Me at Lower Falls:
All of these were shot with a Canon Xt. The two lenses used were the kit and a 100-300 f/3.5-5.6 push-pull zoom lense.
Please critique and be honest. That is how I get better.
