Hey everyone. Im new. Duh.
Anyway, joined the forum as I've grown an interest in improving my camera skills. Recently purchased a nice Canon SX10 and would like to get the most out of it. My interest and experience is mainly in golf course photography. I am a huge golf addict. Love to play. Im not too bad, but Ive realized that I am much better at finding and getting on some of the best courses around than I am at shooting par... Several friends and I have an extensive catalog of courses. We like to document the great places we play, someday hoping to put together a website where we can review and discuss them. I also like to take pics of my weirdo dog.
By no means do I consider myself good at technical camera stuff, but I think Im pretty good with creativity and composition.
Some of the things I want to improve on:
-outdoor shots, getting lots of color and brightness control
-action shots
-learning to take advantage of all the modes my camera offers
-editing and organizing my shots afterward
I'll be happy to add a couple pics for some nice constructive criticism and general viewing pleasures. Here's a couple just for fun:
