Yosemite Aug 2008

I finally got a chance to check out Yosemite... well parts of it anyways. Here are a couple of photos of my trip. I am so happy that there were a couple of areas that still had flowing water; unfortunately Yosemite Falls and Mirror Lake were dry. More are on the way as I get time to pp. Enjoy

#1 - Lower Vernal Falls
Taken: 3pm, direct sunlight, iso 100, f22, 1.6 seconds, ND 0.9 filter + CPOL

#2 - Merced River
Taken: 4:30pm, indirect sunlight, iso 100, f22, 30 seconds, ND 0.9 filter + CPOL

#3 - North Dome

#4 Lower Vernal Falls
Taken: 1pm, direct sunlight, iso 200, f5, 1/500 sec, CPOL

CPOL=Circular Polarizer filter. It also has the effect of an ND 0.3 filter.
