Shot through double layered tinted glass.

Amazing quality, shooting through double layered tinted glass like that! As always, it's nicely composed, to make it look like it's not in captivity.
 
The biggest problem with the double layered glass isn't what is right in front of the lens (In this case, his face), it comes towards the edges... you can start to see the distortion on his hands and feet where they look blocky a bit... that's because of the distortion of the glass.

Basically you get to choose one point to be clear, and (obviously) that has to be the eyes and face.

I have no idea why they don't use clear defraction limited multi-coated clear un-tinted non-reflective glass at zoos... it sure would make our lives as photographers much easier
