Yum...rice anyone?

Haven't posted in ages...figured I'd share this one with you guys and gals. A few buddies of mine and myself are having weekly "contests" to see who can come up with a good shot of whatever topic that is decided on. Last week's subject was "rice"...and this was my entry. Shot with my 50mm. Critiques are welcome!

Between that rice and those lips, I can't decide what looks tastier.

There's a subtle softness to the whole image which must be from shooting at 1.8. Maybe 2.8 or 3.5 would have given you some more detail in the key areas. Overall a very simple photo, but pleasing.

yeah i shot it at f1.8. the main focus point was the few grains of rice touching her lips. thinking back, i should have shot it at 2.8 or so.
