So I've been digging through the forum and searching for those posts that were overlooked and came across this one. I think that your crop and coloring is really good here. It changes the picture from a "snapshot" to a warm, emotional portrait. I read in a book somewhere that you should always take pictures of things that you enjoy because it shows in your work. Chalk this up as a perfect example.

i definitely like how you edited the 2nd one... the better contrast and brighter overall photo really livens it up IMO. i like it
