Need Recommendation for Product Photography Lighting

Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy some continuous lighting for product photogrpahy and videography. I'll mostly be taking photos of dresses on mannequins, jewellery, picture frames, childrenswear on mannequins and books.
I am considering two soft boxes and collapsible background, the links of which I have provided, please advice if this would do the job.

I am also considering the hilite background instead of the collapsible one but was wondering whether the cost can be justifies as i need white backgrkounds for all products

I am hoping these white backgrounds will reduce my post image cropping.
Please advice if this would be the correct equipment. All help is greatly appreciated

The 500 watts provided by the continuous lighting is not very much at all. For only a very little more money, this would be a much better choice.

Thanks for that, however I need to use the lighting for video as well that's why can't get a flash kit. Is there any other set you could suggest?

Oops, okay, missed the video bit in your OP. I guess you're stuck with continuous lighting. I would look for something in the 1000 watts/head region, and while I don't know much about video lighting, I'm thinking probably at least three heads.

Thanks tirediron I'll try doing an ebay search. I don't understand how the wattage is calculated. Is it done by adding the equivalent wattage of each bulb? So, for example if a 28W daylight bulb is equivalent to 500W and the head has 2 bulbs, would that mean the light is 1000W. Sorry if this sounds stupid I'd rather understand this now and make an informative purchase.
