I just signed up, so i may not be doing this right. Ron, i bought a CANON POWERSHOT S5 IS. I am trying to shoot macro pics of jewelry and such. Can you give me a few pointers on how to get it to shoot macro? Thanks in advance.

The main thing is to experiment with the amount of gaussian blur and darkening in Levels.
Using the history brush I usually use about 60-70% and finish with 20-30% "normal" mode.
