I find the drum kit in #1 distracting and takes some of the focus away. (Although you may have meant to do that)

On the second one the hand is slightly blurred and I think it would've looked better if it was the same as #1

Just some thoughts

Both instruments seem to come out of focus toward the right end. I like the way you placed both fretboards at nearly the same angle.

If your going to leave the head out of the image then get in tighter on the hands.

I like 2 better, but I wish the hand weren't blurred. The first is nice and sharp to me.. but the awkward positioning of the one hand is well, awkward for some reason.

I like #2 better because it does not have as many distracting bright spots. The blurry hand does not bother me but I think a reflector could have been used to add some light to the left hand.
