Left home at 61°, 2hrs later landed at -8°.... by dammed it must be Denver! lol
pics from Rocky Mountain National Arsenal NWR (they finally got it to where the prairie dogs don't glow in the dark anymore).

that was the 70-200mm I went very light as the trip was not a photo trip, and to be honest wasn't sure there would be an opportunity. In those cases I either take the 24-105, or the 70-200mm and my crop frame ie 7DII.

had no purpose other than to mark a location for a later trip. It was at one of the very , and I mean very few spots with no power lines etc where you could get a skyline shot of Denver from the refuge. Friend with me is going to keep an eye on photo ops from that point as he lives only 10 miles from there. Some spectacular sunsets occur along the front range, and that is the target.
