a taste for the forgotten...

Hey everyone!

I don't really consider myself new to photography, although i guess i've only been shooting seriously for a year and a bit. i recently upgraded to a d80 with the 35f2 lens, getting the 16-85 in a month or two. i really enjoy exploring, photographing, and researching abandoned/forgotten places, and that's what got me into photography. i see beauty in decay, loneliness, and the forgotten, and try to portray that in my pictures.

here are a few shots from one of my favorite locations.
