    They were lumbering away from the sloping edge of a protective pit surrounding their spacious pad at Miami Metro Zoo.

    Magenta? I thought that they were suffering from porphyrism and had turned the ground purple. But seriously, see my response to your original observation in the One Elephant thread.

    So, I edited the photo in the original post and replaced it with a new version. I played around with the color balance. Less magenta, more yellow, etc. Now it's too yellow.
